This book is the second in a series about Percy Jackson, a half-blood (half human, half Greek god). In this book, he discovers he has a cyclops for a brother whose name is Tyson. Soon he learns that he has to go on a quest to save the half-blood camp from being poisoned. To do this, he must retrieve the golden fleece from an island in the Sea Of Monsters which is in the Bermuda Triangle. His best friend Grover is also on the island, which is guarded by an evil Cyclops named Polyphemus. In the end, The Camp is cured and the tree that got poisoned turns back into what it used to be a Half-blood named Thalia, Daughter of Zeus.
